Sweden’s The Haunted returns after eight years with Songs of Last Resort, issued May 30 through Century Media. Known for groove‑heavy and intense material, the band delivers tracks like “Warhead” and “In Fire Reborn” that reaffirm their modern metal status.

Meanwhile, Alestorm prepares to drop their pirate‑metal opus The Thunderfist Chronicles on June 20, featuring singles “Frozen Piss 2” and “Killed to Death by Piracy”  .
